Jacqui Sunderland is trying to meet up with Forum members in the NE. I thought it would be nice to meet London turtle owners to talk about turtles and help each other out with recommended vets, petshops etc

Hi all,
Maybe we could all meet up together for one day and see how it goes.
Are you reading this and are you interested in meeting/socializing with other turtle owners?
If so DON'T BE SCARED! instead please reply saying where you live. E.g. I'm Dan and i live in Romford and i am willing to travel as i have a car.
Hopefully their will be enough of us to meet up.
I'm looking forward to seeing the response from everyone.
Kind Regards Dan

That would be great.. I live in sunderland but I would be prepared to travel down if their was plenty people interested and we could make it a day thing ... if the turtle rescue team could maybe take us novices around one of the centres and show us the different types of turtles and terrrapins and discuss experiences etc. Dan the poster is great.. could you design a poster warning not to dump T & T in lakes and ponds and the implications for both T & T and the wild life alike .. with information supplied by .. then the website on the bottom to photo copy and laminate to dislpay on official notice boards in local parks and nature reserves please? .. x

Sounds like a worth while trek to look around the centres
