I hope someone can help me. I live in the Wigan area (Lancashire). My daughter has 4 large(about 8 inches shell length) yellow bellied sliders which due to having problems with a twin pregnancy she can no longer look after them and I can't help due to being disabled. We have both drawn the conclusion after a heart searching talk that they need to be rehomed but the problem is I don't know where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction.

hi Jacqui, I'm sorry for the late reply its been really busy here and to say at the moment we do not have any contact info for a re homing centre in your area and I'm sorry due to very high demand to say that we are full here such is the care they receive, but their is a site called " ANIMAL RESCUERS " the whole site is dedicated to rescue centres that have been vetted one way or another like ourselves, here you should find one closer to you failing this you could try to advertise these for free to loving homes only on sites like PETS CLASSIFIEDS / GUMTREE / PRELOVED OR ON OUR SITE UNDER TURTLE ADS AS WE ARE THE BIGGEST TURTLE SITE IN THE U.K AND AS EVERYONE ON OUR SITE ALREADY HAVE THESE ANIMALS AND CAN OFFER THE BEST OF CARE, if you need help with your ad please reply and i would be glad to write the ad for you so you can simply copy and paste it to your chosen sites. please take care and ask questions on all replies to ensure they find happiness and again i would be happy to help you here if you want... sorry we can't be of more help... but we really are full here such is the demand to help these animals after a very busy summer in trapping and taking in.. regards Wayne..
