Please remember Turtle Rescue when you are shopping online. We know times are hard financially but there is a way we can all help raise £100s for turtles with very little effort and at absolutely no cost.
1- Install and use Turtle Rescue browser as an alternative to Google. It gives excellent results -I use it for work and it's better than Google alone as it combines results from 3 search engines. Turtle Rescue gets half a penny for every search made using the browser. This may not sound like much but when you think about the 1000s of searches everyone does it could raise £20 annually per person using it. If only 50 people use it we could raise £1000! I know it works because I have personally raised £25 this year.
2- Use our Easyfundraising site which can earn serious money whenever you buy ANYTHING online from car and home insurance, flights, food from Waitrose and tesco etc, all maojr retailers including M&S and even Ebay and Amazon. So far 33 people have signed up for it but we've only raised £62 so far so it looks like many aren't using it. To help you remember you can now install a tool bar which reminds you to click on our Easyfundraising button first every time you shop online. I can't afford to do much shopping but I've raised £6 IN 3 MONTHS JUST BY BIDDING ON EBAY. Just think of all the money we could raise if everyone remembered to use it when buying presents and even food for Christmas... not to mention office stationery from Viking or DIY tools and materials from Screwfix.
Turtle Rescue is in desperate need of funds if it is to continue with its excellent work of helping to save these amazing animals next year and advise owners on how best to care for them. The latest disaster is the loss of a 6ft tank which is leaking badly and needs replacing.
Please make a small effort to help by using our Easyfundraising site
