Ooooh lovely! I wouldnt have minded a bit of that myself served with a bit of sweet chilli sauce or garlic dip! lol Santa brought my lot added colour in their tanks with small plastic aquarium plants I bought very cheap, on his behalf from 'Home Bargains', 99p for packet of two, 2 varities, so I bought a packet of each, of each type, for each tank. They are great for the price. Christmas morning they had all three of their favourite treats for breakfast, pinkies ( xmas present from nana! ) , dried crayfish from turtle rescue food range and live mealworm .. then later on they had cooked turkey.. yummy.. well we all over endulge of treats at xmas dont we! xx

lol.. you can get them from Pets at Home in the reptile section or from some pet shops but they normally have them behind the counter with the live crickets, beetles etc with which I definately can't cope. .. the mealworms are not too bad but as a veggie I get the guilt trips and struggle with live Mario worms which are bigger.. They can't have too many too often cos they are like chocs to a turtle.. Love and best wishes for a prosperous 2012 ! x

Love and best wishes for a great 2012 from me and my turtles to you and yours. Will have to investigate my nearest Pets at Home and see if they have live worms. Must say the idea doesn't appeal to me and I'm not even a veggie! Presumably you feed all the worms at once and don't have to keep the worms as "extra pets". My 2012 resolution is not to have any more tanks, rates, cages etc so have to draw the line at my turtles having "pet worms" I do have a very low maintenance organic compost bin outside my kitchen which recycles veg scraps and gives me free liquid plant fertilizer PLUS free earthworms for my turtles and axolotls
