Our new smallest arrival arrives at turtle rescue today at just 1 cm. it really is crazy that these very new born musk turtles are being sold in some pet shops at such a young age and yet even at this size is too much for some owners...  well we'll look after you here.. ;D Attachments:

Poor little things, sold so tiny to people who have no idea how to look after them. Guess their chance of survival must be pretty low.
There should be a UK law prohibiting the sale of newly hatched baby turtles as there is in the US
Where did it come from? Was it the same petshop/breeder as the tiny musk one of our Forum members tried so hard to save or are there lots of places selling tiny musk hatchlings?
