Since adding my "new" turtle (drizzle) to my other 3 musk's I've had nothing but green water... I've had to do a complete water change twice and put new gravel in, scrubbed the large stones they play with and plastic plants etc! we have a plecky who's about 4" and he cant even keep up with the cleaning! our pump is massive and should do the job perfectly! any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? i do have the light on a lot... my tank can be seen through, as its in a gap that separates my kitchen from my dining room, i give them lots of food because drizzle is a greedy boy and i think that the littler ones don't get enough! ya know i think I've just answered all my questions haven't I .... Doh!! but if you would advise me further that would be great ta ???xxx

hi the over feeding won't help and if you feel the smaller ones are not getting enough food then feed them separately but this sounds like the tank is getting too much light both with lights and natural sunlight, this can be cured by using a filter with built in u.v light which will combat the algae build up but moving the tank from direct sun light would be better.. hope this helps you, regards Wayne.
