The Durham branch as always are very very busy.. and struggles to cope with the sheer volume of calls and numbers of turtles coming in and waiting to come in. We have recently took in a few very malnourished turtles from a pond recently needing rehydration and extra vitamins and a very poorly yellow belly female with an extreme absesses in her ears either side of her head. She's on antibioticsto to prevent them from getting worse till we build her up to be able to cope with surgery to cut them out. As always we are looking for good homes in the area.. whether its adding to or starting out, no experience is needed as full support is given but now more than always as we have a lot of patients needing intensive care right now we need to get the numbers down for us to be able to give the time needed. Alternatively if you like to get involved as a fosterer, home checker, fund raiser or can help in any other way.. please contact us for further details xx ....
