My adult map is due to come back inside for the winter (she spends the summer in my garden pond) and i am thinking of a bigger pool for her. I was going to build her a pond lined with a butyl pond liner - but i am a bit concerned that she will scratch through it, which would make a mess of my dining room! Anyone got any experience of pond liners? Cheers to all.

No experience of pond liners but I have fond a great cheap indoor pond which is guaranteed leakproof for several years - Turtle World plastic large tanks/ponds. They come in different colours but if you prefer you can build a wall around the pond in wood to match your furniture and decor. I am using one for 3 of my sliders at the moment and can honestly recommend them. You can get them online from www.turtle-supplies.co.uk
