Hi, I have a 6" Razor Back in a 3' tank with a Fluval U3 filter. the problem is I still have to change the water every week as it clouds up and poor murtle cannot see out. What am I doing wrong? The heater keeps the temp at 78. and I remove any left over food after 30 mins, I only feed her the deluxe food from the turtle recue and 2 raw shrimps at night, which she always eats. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You are doing all the right things. Excellent food and the Fluval U3 should be enough for one musk. Just check the filter flow to make sure it is working properly. Sounds like you have a bacterial bloom. Blooms are common in new set ups or older tanks where debris, food, poo etc accumulates in the substrate. Try siphoning your sand or better still remove it, sieve it and rinse it several times before replacing in tank .
